Image
" Don't wait until the democracy comes to visit your country" Syrian civil war has been started since 2011 between Government forces and Rebellion and till now it is almost 3 years. According to the opposition activist groups, at least 90000 people have been killed ,and more than 30000 people have been reported missing. Many residential areas and infrastruct ures have been demolished. Syrian citizens have been living in hunger, suffering and danger, and they wish this such situation could be ended peacefully. As I have followed and observed so far , I started believing that Syrian conflict is going to end soon, and the last moment of Mr. Assad would not be far different from Gaddafi for being a dictator president. There are several reason that have been pushing Syrian conflict to end : First of all is U.S's intervention. Recently, US has already announced about the decision of Mr. Obama of providing political and military aids to Syrian rebels. Second is some c...

S-300 has been sent to Syria

Image
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad announced that Syria has received anti-aircraft missiles system S-300 from Russia. This news must make some countries such as United States, France and Israel disappointed because they hardly tried to halt the sale of S-300 of Russia to Syria for long time ago. Anyways, Russian is the most important weapons supplier to many countries in the Middle-East includes Iran and Syria, and these two countries are kno wn as Russian's allies. Israeli government couldn't believe that this such a powerful weapon was delivered to Syrian government, and Israel is worried that this weapon must be used for striking its civilian or Military aircraft. However, it is not a threat for Israeli aircraft unless Israeli military aircraft doesn't fly over Syrian territory or strike the Syrian military based or Civilian residents. Actually, Syrian president Mr Assad said that this Anti- aircraft system must be used for national defense only. Moreover, He promised tha...

After dissolution of Ottoman empire in 1920, many successor states were established in southeastern Europe and the Middle East. According to the history of Kurd, there were about 8 millions out of 20 millions Kurdish living in southern Turkey and the rest living in Syria, Iran, Iraq and Armenia. Since that time, Kurdish people that have been living in Iraq and Turkey were forbidden to wear their own traditional clothes as well as to speak their own language. Because of these problems, in 1978 Kurdish man Abdullah Ocalan established the Kurdish Workers' Party, or PKK for claiming for independence, and this party has always been committing some activities such as bombing a...

Do you know that U.S purchased Louisiana from France ?

Image
(Map of Louisiana territory ) Most people have known that US bought Alaska from Russia, but there are not many people know about the purchasing of Louisiana from France by US government. According to the history of US-Fr diplomatic relation, on April 30 1803 U.S sent its representatives to Paris for signing a deal of purchasing land which is approximately 828,000 square mi les and stretched from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains and from the Gulf of Mexico to Canada. This deal know as Louisiana purchase that was priced about $15 million. We might think that the price is too cheap(nearly 3 cents per arc) for America, but in fact this price was more than the U.S could afford. As a result, the U.S decided to borrow money from the European Banks with 6 percents interest. Then until 1923 the U.S finished repaying loan to the European Banks and the total cost of the land was up to $23 millions. Actually the most important thing that motivated the French King Napoleon Bona...

Peru claimed for territorial water and internal water, but it was not recognised by Chilean government. The conflict area is approximate ly 35,700 square kilometers of ocean. Actually according to the history of diplomacy of these two countries, the conflict area was controlled by Peruvian government for long time ago, but it was passed to Chilean hands in 1879 when starting of Pacific War ( from 1879 to 1883 between Bolivia, Peru and Chile) until now. Where is the legal effect of the Chemical weapons convention in our global?

Image
The Chemical Weapons Convention has been known as the Convention on prohibition production, development, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their destruction. This convention was drafted in 1992 and signed in 1993 by 165 signatories. In 1997 it came into effect, and it has had 188 parties since 2012. However there are six countries that neither acceded nor signed this convention such as A ngola, Egypt, North Korea, Somalia, South Sudan , Syrian ,and two states Burma , Israel that have not yet ratified this Convention . So there must be a problem for those that have not yet acceded this convention, and their civilians must be the victims of the use of Chemical weapons. This convention has no legal effect at all to impose sanctions on those non-parties states, thus the military intervention is the best way to against to the use of chemical weapons. By the way being a non-party of CWC, Syria has been accused of producing and using so far from its neighboring countries Israe...
