Myanmar, Golden land for the investors and majority but the hell for Rohingya

IMF managing director Christine Lagarde has said Myanmar is truly a Golden land with a golden future amid her brief visit to the country in December last year and it seems to be true.Currently, Myanmar is now enjoying with its rapid economic growth, the flow of foreign direct investment, the flow of financial aid, the ease of economic sanctions, as well as the removal of trade embargo. Besides having made the political reforms, this country has also decided to adopt the new exchange rate by changing from restriction exchange rate to the floating exchange rate system. This means that the change is really good for state's economy, and the state itself would be able to call for greater financial integration. Ultimately, Myanmarese government will be able to reduce the poverty, raise the people's living standard, increase spending on healthcare and education, and people will be living enjoyably with the dramatic change of the society.

However, not every Myanmarese enjoys with this since the government has treated its people unfairly, particularly between majority and indigenous groups. Rohingya is an Islamic ethnic living in the the north–western part of the country in Arakan states. They have never been considered one of 135 legally recognized ethnic minority by the government, and most importantly they have been so far treated brutally by executing, oppressing, raping, burning, torturing and many other actions considering as the human rights abuses. According to the human right reports, since 2011 hundreds of Rohingya people have been killed and many thousands displaced and forced to to flee their homes . Most of them can not earn money to feed themselves or families but they are living by relying on humanitarian aid given by international organisations. Thus, I would say Myanmar is considered as the hell for Islamic minority Rohingya.
