Why John Kerry and Chuck Hagel have a state visit to the Middle-East?

U.S Secretary of State John Kerry and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel seem to be very busy with their state visits for strengthening and boosting cooperation with the countries in the Middle-East recently. In this previous week, after having a threatening from North Korea for attacking against South Korea and US as well as preparing to launch its Musudan ballistic missile,  Mr. John Kerry made his first trip to China and Japan. Actually, the goals of his trip to China were to motivate the Chinese leaders to defuse the N.Korea tension and to talk about denuclearization in Korean peninsular.

Today U.S Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel arrived in Israel for his state visit and brought with many concern topics for talking with the leader of Israel such as Iran’s nuclear program, the Syrian civil war, and the U.S-Israel arms deals. According to the U.S department of Defense, Mr. Hagel will spend his one week long for regional tour in Middle-East includes Jordan, Egypt,  Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and he plans to meet with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Shimon Peres, and Israeli Defense forces chief. This diplomatic trip is a key role of US to boost its alliances for preventing success of Iran’s nuclear program, and it also provides U.S both economical and political benefits. The worth of arm deals between U.S and Israel is estimated about 3.1 billion U.S. dollars and this military aid has been sent to Israel annually.
By the way, while Mr. Hagel is having a state visit in Israel, U.S Secretary of State John Kerry is having a state visit to Turkey which is a neighbor state of Syria and Iran and located not far away from Israel and Palestine. In this trip Mr. Kerry planned to meet and have a talk with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for seeking the sight of peace in the Middle-East. The meeting is held while Mr Abbas is on his state visit to Turkey for talks with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan after hearing the announcement of a state visit of Turkish prime minister to Gaza. Mr. Abbas will ask Mr.Kerry to pressure on Turkish prime minister for planning to visit Palestine. Mr. Erdogan planned to visit Palestine since the relation between Turkey and Israel had been cool down after having an attack in Gaza Strip in 2010 which killed 9 Turks, and Turkish Government demanded Israel to apologize. Unless Turkish prime minister could achieve his plan to visit Palestine in next month, the fragile relation between Israel and Palestine would be cut off ,and the plans of seeking peace in the Middle-East would be totally dissolved .
