Is Australia going to confront with Government shutdown ?

Image
The Australian government would be shut down if the legislatures failed to raise the debt ceiling by the December 12. Actually, Australia is known as the world's 12 largest economy and its current public debt ceiling is AU$300 billion. In order to avoid government shutdown scenario, Australia need to exceed the debt ceiling up to AU$50 0 billion equal to $452 billion, but it's currently facing opposition from the Labor Party and Greens. In Australia, the upper house (Senate) has the power to block or approve the legislation, but unfortunately Australian Prime Minister Tony Abott's coalition has the majority in the lower house. Therefore, the government has to justify and explain to the senate about the exceeding of the debt ceiling in order to convince those lawmakers to accept its proposal. Inevitably, if the proposal still be rejected by the senators, this country will enter US-style government shutdown by closing some non essential public services temporarily as well

Israel's demand is opposed to what the world wants

The relations between the U.S and Jerusalem seem to be divided and deteriorated after the P5+1 and Iran have reached the interim agreement over Iranian nuclear issues recently and the de als were actually proposed by the US. According to Israeli prime minister  Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו  the nuclear deals proposed by the US and other 5 powers have been described as the historic mistake, and he strongly denounced the deal just limited on the enrichment of uranium and a more intrusive inspections regime in return for the lift of economic sanctions. Mr Netanyahu has so far warned of the possible military action against Iran, and he demanded the western powers to impose more sanctions on Iranians. Anyway, the interim deals between P5+1 and Iran have been described by many groups of people in different perspectives. Some people think it's a good deal meanwhile others think that it's a bad deal, but everyone agrees it's a big deal. Nevertheless, the deals are not consi

The separatist movement rapidly emerges in some parts of Libya after the Civil war

Image
! Chronologically, Libyan government, ruled by dictator Muammar Gaddafi, was formally collapsed and Gaddafi was ousted from power, captured and killed by the Rebel group in 2011. Actually, Gaddafi came to power in 1969 after organising a military coup against the King Idris of Libya and self-proclaimed as a Colonel. In 2011 the uprising among Libyan people and violent demonstration emerged af ter human rights campaigners had been arrested by Libyan authority. In response, Libyan government used aircraft to attack protestors. Having seen many atrocious activities committing by Libyan government, UNSC decided to authorise a no-fly zone over Libya and air strikes to protect civilians which commanded by NATO. It has been almost three years since Libyan civil war came to an end, but actually the political, economic instability and social crisis still have been occurring in this lawless state. The weak central government failed to resume unifying power over the rebels and many other tribe

French government replaces its ambassador to Central Africa ( CAR).

Image
Source: RFI France has recently announced that it will replace its ambassador to Central African Republic. The announcement was made a few days after additional military personnel ha d been sent to the country to support the possible military intervention backed by the United Nations regarding to the political instability which has just emerged since March. Actually, the additional troops has been contributed to the Central Africa in order to help restoring the public order and national security as well as to halt the ongoing conflict and the severe violence. The situation in Central Africa has become chaotic and unstable after president François Bozizé was overthrown from power in March by the rebel forces known as the Séléka coalition and the leader of this coalition has been ruling the presidential palace till now. Besides the deployment of French troops, there are about 2,500 African troops that have been already stationing in the country. The violence and religious clashes in

The kinds of countries in the World

Image
There are two kinds of countries in the world : 1. The countries which have much chance to develop with the incapable administration (Government). Some less developed countries have a very potential natural resources as well as a favorable  geography. Depend on their potentiality, they would be able to accelerate their economic growth rapidly, but unfortunately their leaders are incapable to manage the natural resources, and to propose effective policies to develop their countries properly. Moreover, we mostly find the lack of sufficient public financial management, accountability, transparency, as well as responsibility in the governmental institutions of these countries. Consequently, the corruption, bureaucracy, instability emerge in their political and administrative institutions. For instant, some countries in African continent, such Zimbabwe, Mali, Sudan, Eritrea... Although they have much natural resource, they are not able to use those resources properly in order to boost it

Why Japan decided to closer Russia ?

Image
Recently, Japan and Russia have held a joint conference between foreign and defense ministers to discuss over international security and bilateral cooperation as well as plan to hold joint military exercise to combat terrorism and piracy. The diplomatic defense talks is considered as the first time for both states after the leaders of these two states have agr eed to resume the peace talks that aimed at settling the long standing -territorial depute in April. Historically, the territorial depute over four Islands such as Kunashiri, Etorofu,, Shikotan , and the rocky Habomai islets between the two nations has remained unsolved since 1956 after Japan and Soviet Union made joint declaration to restore their diplomatic ties. Currently, the relations between the two nations have been eventually strengthened. During the term of the Japanese Prime minister Shinzo Abe, he has tried to cool down the tension with Russia, and he is the first Japanese prime who has made an official visit to Mosc

Will Democracy change your life ?

Image
(Libya before and after civil war ) Many people believe that Democracy is the best political system which consists of three main elements such as rule of law, equality, and freedom. the people who are living in democratic countries enjoying living with their freedoms, civil and political rights including freedom of expression or speech, assembly, press, religions and their rights, and liberties are protected by Laws and constitutions. Actually, U.S is considered as the father  of democracy which always tries to promote and spread the democracy to every country all over the world especially in the countries which have the longest serving leaders such as in Middle-East and Africa.  As far as I know, to install the democratic government, U.S administration has to interfere deeply in domestic affairs of those states by secretly providing aid (financial or weapons) to opposition groups or forming the rebel groups in order to change the governments or oust the leaders from their power.

Will U.S intervene in Kashmir territorial conflict ?

Image
Recently, the relations between Pakistan and India have been deteriorated due to the clashes between Pakistani security forces and Indian soldiers in Kashmir. However, the ceasefire between two sides have been taken place yesterday morning along the Bhimber Gali sector of frontier Poonch district, about 185 km southwest of Srinagar city , the summer capital of Indian- controlled Kashmir. Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif believes that if U.S intervenes in resolving Kashmir conflict, it will be settled easily and fairly since U.S is considered as the good strategic partner of Pakistan and the close economic partnership of India . Historically, the Kashmir conflict has been considered as the longest and bloodiest territorial conflict in the world and it's also known as the core issue between these two nations. The depute had been emerged since 1947 after the decolonization of Great Britain from British-India, and this British-controlled land were also divided into two India

Is the food policy really important for all countries across the world?

Image
(International World Food Day) If we talk about the food security or policy, we might frequently think about the African countries and some countries in Asia. Actually, hunger mostly occurs in the third wold countries and it's gradually becoming the most concerning issues for the world. Anyway, if this issue was not resolved urgently, it would also affect the developed countries because those countries are actually basing on importing food productions from the third world. Many countries have been reportedly facing with the alarming hunger level resulting from its economic crisis, climate change, and domestic conflicts. As the result, many international organisations have called for building more cooperation among states regionally as well as globally in order the to settle these such problems effectively. The food policy is implemented in order to prevent the food crisis and fight against the starvation by producing more f

NATO's defense missile systems were deployed at the border of Syria-Turkey

Image
. NATO has deployed its missile systems to defend against possible attacks at Syrian-Turkey border. According to Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, he said "Turkish armed forces will retaliate against threats coming from Syria in case Western allies wage a military action against Syrian government". However, U.S's a lly United Kingdom decided not to take action against Syria because its parliament voted against any possible military action which was proposed by Prime Minister David Cameron. Although U.K rejected the proposal of military intervention in Syria, U.S administration is willing to take unilateral action but in limited. French President François Hollande said "France is still ready to take part in attacks on Syria, despite the British parliament's vote against participation ". Without participating from U.K, it seems to be hard for U.S to take action unilaterally or even with France.Actually, Besides deploying Defense missile systems a

Is Israel going to be the first country that Syria attacks if the Western intervention starts

Image
The relation between Western countries and middle-east Islamic state Syria  is becoming more and more tentative and fragile after Syria has been accused of using chemical weapons to fight against his own civilians. According to the western countries officials, they have been well-prepared and already deployed their troops including air, ground as well as naval forces to closer Syria. They added they have already had their air and Naval bases in Turkey,Cyprus, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab emirates as well as Saudi Arabia. Actually, Israeli leaders have urged the foreign community to take action against Syrian Regime while Russia and Iran have been trying to protect Assad's regime and deny any accusations which raised by opposition groups and Western countries .Today, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem  has said he rejects "utterly and completely" that Syrian government forces used chemical weapons. This speech was made after U.S secretary of state John Kerry said

Will air war in Kosovo be reused in Syrian war?

Image
Everyone has already known about the Air war (refers to NATO air strikes in Kosovar war) in Kosovo in 1999 after thousands of Kosovar civilians were killed by Serbian President Slobodan MiloÅ¡ević. Actually, he was charged with war crimes including genocide, and crimes against humanity in connection to the wars in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo by the International Criminal Tribunal. In respond to that situation, U.S President Bill  Clinton approved of NATO intervention without a mandate from the United Nations. NATO troops began bombing for 11 weeks, and Milosevic was forced to withdraw his troops and police. Anyways, Mr. Assad might not care about that because his government is back by Russia and Russia always use his veto right to disrupt the resolution of UNSC for using military intervention in Syria. Unlike Kosovo, Syria has such powerful weapons which have been imported from China and Russia especially Anti-aircraft missiles such as S-300, SA-6 and SA-8 . However, the air war of NA

African are not poor, but they are being looted

Africa, the second largest continent ,  is bordered by he Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean. In African continent, there are totally 54 countries. Because  of the potential geographic accessibility and climate factor of this continent, most of them have potentiality in agriculture, fishing, forestry, and mining. For instant, Africa is a major producer of important metals and minerals.Actually, Africa exports Uranium, platinum, bauxite, nickel, aluminum, cobalt, and the most profitable mineral resources are gold and diamonds. Depend on their local potentiality, African countries could use those resources freely and easily to help accelerate their economic growth as well as build their countries to become developed-countries. In contrast, most African countries are some developing, and some under-developing countries. Actually, there are many factors that lead those countries to be in poverty, but I would raise only few factors. First of all, accor

The rising of number of refugees has been becoming the most concerned issues of the world

Image
Refugees refer to a group of people who are forced leave their country in order to get protection or prevention from any dangers especially during war. Recently in our global, refugee problems have been being concerned, and it have been become the serious issue that have to be solved immediately. Most refugees  problems are happening in Africa, Asia as well as in Europ for example in Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan,Iraq, Sudan( North and South), Ethiopia,Ukraine, Belarus, Congo, Palestine. ect. The number of refugee has been risen from day to day because of civil war, natural disaster or any others issues. The refugees have been living together in the camps and getting facilitated by International communities as well as international organisations. However, due to the overcrowding of refugees, most of them couldn't be provided enough a sustainable water, sanitation, hygiene, and foods. This such situation is really bad for pregnant women, old people, and especially for children. Ac

Ethnic cleansing in Myanmar

Image
The religious crisis in Myanmar (in Rakhine state) has been started since 2012 between Buddhists and Muslims by having the brutal clashes and rioting and caused many people died. The group Muslims have been identified as Rohingya who have been living in the state of Rakhine since 15th century and originated from neighboring Bengal (now included Bangladesh). First of all I would like to let you know about the history of the conflict. Pursuant to the history of the Rakhine state, in 1784 this state was conquered by Burmese and led thousands of its ethnic group to death and displacement. Then in 1823 this state was captured by British, and it was also annexed and governed as the state of British Indian. During the World War II, Japanese forces occupied Burma and pushed British troops from the region of Rakhine state. In 1948 Burma granted independence from British and this region has been under the central power of the successive Burmese governments. Actually, a year before Burmese inde

Will Robert Mugabe be re-elected as the president of Zimbabwe ?

Image
"Countries such as the U.S. and Britain have taken it upon themselves to decide for us in the developing world, even to interfere in our domestic affairs and to bring about what they call regime change. " said  Mr. Robert Mugabe.  Zimbabwean President Robert Gabriel Mugabe ,89 years old, is more than just a politician, but he also a great commander who launched fighting against white colonial rulers in Zimbabwe known as Rhodesia in 1964 and struggled to gain independence from Britain in 1980. After that, he firstly became the prime minister of the newly independent Zimbabwe, then served as the President seven years latter till present time. This Wednesday, Zimbabwe harmonised its National election (presidential, senate, national assembly and local government elections), and Mr Robert Mugabe is expected to be re-elected Zimbabwean President with two third votes. Although he have been ruling Zimbabwe more than thirty years. In 2013 elections, there are fives presidential can

Will Syrian conflict be ended soon ?

Image
" Don't wait until the democracy comes to visit your country" Syrian civil war has been started since 2011 between Government forces and Rebellion and till now it is almost 3 years. According to the opposition activist groups, at least 90000 people have been killed ,and more than 30000 people have been reported missing. Many residential areas and infrastruct ures have been demolished. Syrian citizens have been living in hunger, suffering and danger, and they wish this such situation could be ended peacefully. As I have followed and observed so far , I started believing that Syrian conflict is going to end soon, and the last moment of Mr. Assad would not be far different from Gaddafi for being a dictator president. There are several reason that have been pushing Syrian conflict to end : First of all is U.S's intervention. Recently, US has already announced about the decision of Mr. Obama of providing political and military aids to Syrian rebels. Second is some c

S-300 has been sent to Syria

Image
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad announced that Syria has received anti-aircraft missiles system S-300 from Russia. This news must make some countries such as United States, France and Israel disappointed because they hardly tried to halt the sale of S-300 of Russia to Syria for long time ago. Anyways, Russian is the most important weapons supplier to many countries in the Middle-East includes Iran and Syria, and these two countries are kno wn as Russian's allies. Israeli government couldn't believe that this such a powerful weapon was delivered to Syrian government, and Israel is worried that this weapon must be used for striking its civilian or Military aircraft. However, it is not a threat for Israeli aircraft unless Israeli military aircraft doesn't fly over Syrian territory or strike the Syrian military based or Civilian residents. Actually, Syrian president Mr Assad said that this Anti- aircraft system must be used for national defense only. Moreover, He promised tha

The Conflict between Turkey and Kurds

Image
(Map of Kurdish territory ) Kurd is a group of Sunni Muslim that has their own language and culture, and they mostly inhabit in some areas such as Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Iran, and Armenia . After dissolution of Ottoman empire in 1920, many successor states were established in southeastern Europe and the Middle East. However Kurds were not allowed to create their own independent state because of the oppositio n from Turkey, Iran, and Iraq. According to the history of Kurd, there were about 8 millions out of 20 millions Kurdish living in southern Turkey and the rest living in Syria, Iran, Iraq and Armenia. Since that time, Kurdish people that have been living in Iraq and Turkey were forbidden to wear their own traditional clothes as well as to speak their own language. Because of these problems, in 1978 Kurdish man Abdullah Ocalan established the Kurdish Workers' Party, or PKK for claiming for independence, and this party has always been committing some activities such as bombing a

Do you know that U.S purchased Louisiana from France ?

Image
(Map of Louisiana territory ) Most people have known that US bought Alaska from Russia, but there are not many people know about the purchasing of Louisiana from France by US government. According to the history of US-Fr diplomatic relation, on April 30 1803 U.S sent its representatives to Paris for signing a deal of purchasing land which is approximately 828,000 square mi les and stretched from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains and from the Gulf of Mexico to Canada. This deal know as Louisiana purchase that was priced about $15 million. We might think that the price is too cheap(nearly 3 cents per arc) for America, but in fact this price was more than the U.S could afford. As a result, the U.S decided to borrow money from the European Banks with 6 percents interest. Then until 1923 the U.S finished repaying loan to the European Banks and the total cost of the land was up to $23 millions. Actually the most important thing that motivated the French King Napoleon Bona

Maritime depute between Peru and Chile

Image
(Map of Territorial conflict) Peru and Chile are known as Latin American neighbors continued presenting their arguments before the International Court of Justice in The Hague stemming from a maritime dispute first presented to the ICJ in January 2008. Peru claimed for territorial water and internal water, but it was not recognised by Chilean government. The conflict area is approximate ly 35,700 square kilometers of ocean. Actually according to the history of diplomacy of these two countries, the conflict area was controlled by Peruvian government for long time ago, but it was passed to Chilean hands in 1879 when starting of Pacific War ( from 1879 to 1883 between Bolivia, Peru and Chile) until now. In addition in 2008 when presenting in the ICJ, Chile argued that the maritime border between Chile itself and Peru was officially established since 1952 and 1954 by basing on Santiago Declaration and Agreement on Maritime Border Zones. However it was rejected by Peruvian government,

Where is the legal effect of the Chemical weapons convention in our global?

Image
The Chemical Weapons Convention has been known as the Convention on prohibition production, development, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their destruction. This convention was drafted in 1992 and signed in 1993 by 165 signatories. In 1997 it came into effect, and it has had 188 parties since 2012. However there are six countries that neither acceded nor signed this convention such as A ngola, Egypt, North Korea, Somalia, South Sudan , Syrian ,and two states Burma , Israel that have not yet ratified this Convention . So there must be a problem for those that have not yet acceded this convention, and their civilians must be the victims of the use of Chemical weapons. This convention has no legal effect at all to impose sanctions on those non-parties states, thus the military intervention is the best way to against to the use of chemical weapons. By the way being a non-party of CWC, Syria has been accused of producing and using so far from its neighboring countries Israe

Why John Kerry and Chuck Hagel have a state visit to the Middle-East?

Image
U.S Secretary of State John Kerry and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel seem to be very busy with their state visits for strengthening and boosting cooperation with the countries in the Middle-East recently. In this previous week, after having a threatening from North Korea for attacking against South Korea and US as well as preparing to launch its Musudan ballistic missile,  Mr. John Kerry made his first trip to China and Japan. Actually, the goals of his trip to China were to motivate the Chinese leaders to defuse the N.Korea tension and to talk about denuclearization in Korean peninsular.   Today U.S Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel arrived in Israel for his state visit and brought with many concern topics for talking with the leader of Israel such as Iran’s nuclear program, the Syrian civil war, and the U.S-Israel arms deals. According to the U.S department of Defense, Mr. Hagel will spend his one week long for regional tour in Middle-East includes Jordan, Egypt,  Saudi Arabia and

Why there was a war between Kosovo and Serbia ?

Image
The conflict between  Kosovo and Serbia was known as Kosovo war and started in 1998. Kosovo was an autonomous province and located in in southern Serbia and has a mixed population of which the majority are ethnic Albanians. Actually Kosovo is the disputed borderland between Serbia and Albania as the same as Kashmir conflict borderland between India  and Pakistan. These two countries Kosovo and Serbia were former states of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia which was unified by Mr Josip Broz Tito in 1943 . In 1991 after dissolution of Soviet Union, the Yugoslav war was started and most of its states declared its independence. However Kosovo was still an autonomous province of Serbia .Until 1998 the conflict is started between Serbian military  and Kosovar Albanian police forces resulted in the deaths of over 1,500 Kosovar-Albanians and forced 400,000 people from their homes. To respond to this conflict which caused many innocent people die and a thousands of refugees , NATO and U

Is US preparing for the future war in the Middle-East ?

Image
The previous post talked about the expectation of the world war III . Today I also raise the same topic, and it clearly show that US is preparing for war in the future in the Middle-ea st. Recently, the diplomatic relation between US and some countries in the middle-east such as Syria and Iran have been recognized as the fragile relationship. Since Iran refused to negotiate and announced publicly that no super powers or International community could force him to abandon his goal of producing Nuclear weapons, the US and its alliances seem to be preparing themselves for responding to any attacks. Based on the US Defense Department, the arms deal with Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are expected to be up to $10 billion and it will provide missiles, warplanes and troop transports to help those countries for countering any future threat from Iran. US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has spent a week long to visit the region of Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirate

Why most people hate US ?

Image
Why do many people hate US??? and what are the crises that US facing with ??? From day to day the situation in the US is going to be worse and worse. Being the father state of democracy , US always try to play an important role to lead the whole world although it has to break the international law, commit the crime against the humanity, use the invasion strategy as well as intrude the human and c hildren 's right. By the way, these actions have been proclaimed by the US administration as the humanitarian acts or the acts for protecting the world( for example Vietnam,Iraq,Libya war.... .) Actually these actions have been helping decrease the popularity of this country rather than increase ,and most people gradually start loathing it . Clearly, The US offers too much of right and freedom to its citizens without expecting any risks that they are going face in the future. For example, they give a right to their people to

Is Iran going to be a Nuclear country ?

Image
Does Iran has Nuclear weapons  ???? Some people might be getting confused that Iranian government has Nuclear weapons. In fact, Iranian nuclear program is being sought and not yet achieve. Actually Iranian government has launched Yellowcake processing complex .It is known as a kind of uranium concentrate powder obtained from leach solutions, in an intermediate step in the processing of uranium ores. Moreover it is also used for producing uranium fuel for Nuclear reactors. It seems that Iran nearly achieve its goal of producing Nuclear weapons, but Iranian government refused that it is just for civilian purposes only.Is it reliable ????  The allied country of Iran,Syria has been known as the country that also seeking for the nuclear weapons. Many people assume that those countries have not enough  abilities to achieve theirs goal for producing nuclear weapons without any helps of their Boss(Russia and China), However Some countries in Africa and Eastern Europe for instant Belarus, Kaz

Indochina War and Geneva convention

Image
For responding to my friend request , today I am raising the topic Geneva conference in 1954.This text will be briefly talking about the history of geneva convention and Civil war in Indochina peninsular. Why the Geneva conference was found  in 1954?          This conference was established in order to finish the war in Indochina peninsular(Cambodia, Vietnam ,Lao) between France and Vietnam as well as to offer  those countries to gain independent. In fact Cambodia under the leading of His majesty King Norodom Shihanouk declared the independent since 1953 before having this conference. In this conference, representatives came from many countries such as USA ,France, Great Britain, Soviet Union, and China joined together for addressing the bloody battle in Vietnam which led by Communist leader .Ho Chi Minh to against the French troops. Before having this conference, US had been trying to send military aids to support the French troops in the Indochina war. However, the French were t
