S-300 has been sent to Syria


Syrian President Bashar al-Assad announced that Syria has received anti-aircraft missiles system S-300 from Russia. This news must make some countries such as United States, France and Israel disappointed because they hardly tried to halt the sale of S-300 of Russia to Syria for long time ago. Anyways, Russian is the most important weapons supplier to many countries in the Middle-East includes Iran and Syria, and these two countries are known as Russian's allies.
Israeli government couldn't believe that this such a powerful weapon was delivered to Syrian government,and Israel is worried that this weapon must be used for striking its civilian or Military aircraft. However, it is not a threat for Israeli aircraft unless Israeli military aircraft doesn't fly over Syrian territory or strike the Syrian military based or Civilian residents. Actually, Syrian president Mr Assad said that this Anti- aircraft system must be used for national defense only. Moreover, He promised that Syrian government is well-prepared for having a negotiation with Syrian opposition and a a planned peace conference in Geneva next week which is organised by UN, United States and Russia.
Honestly, I can't say whether this delivery of S-300 to Syria is good or not, but according to the current situation in Syria, this system must be considered as the best mean for Syrian to protect itself from any aggression of Israel. In addition, buying weapons is such a normal thing for one government for strengthening military power as well as building the feasibility of national defense sector. However, it must not be used to against the civilian or violate the international law
