Is the food policy really important for all countries across the world?

                                                      (International World Food Day)
If we talk about the food security or policy, we might frequently think about the African countries and some countries in Asia. Actually, hunger mostly occurs in the third wold countries and it's gradually becoming the most concerning issues for the world. Anyway, if this issue was not resolved urgently, it would also affect the developed countries because those countries are actually basing on importing food productions from the third world.

Many countries have been reportedly facing with the alarming hunger level resulting from its economic crisis, climate change, and domestic conflicts. As the result, many international organisations have called for building more cooperation among states regionally as well as globally in order the to settle these such problems effectively. The food policy is implemented in order to prevent the food crisis and fight against the starvation by producing more food, and it can be divided into two national and global policy. However, for the national policy, the government must work together with international organisations and donors.
The government itself must be well-prepared for cooperating with the outside world and propose its own strategy to improve agricultural sector by building more irrigation system, providing more crops, and educating its people more about how to produce high quality products as well as mass products .
Generally, food policies are not needed only the increase of quantity but also need increasing the quality of of food production because besides getting vulnerability from the hunger, many people (mostly children) are also suffering from the malnutrition. According the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO)'s report, the global hunger is decreasing, but it is not fast enough. The hunger and malnutrition are still remaining the serious problem for the world especially in Africa continent.
