African are not poor, but they are being looted

Africa, the second largest continent , is bordered by he Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean.In African continent, there are totally 54 countries. Because of the potential geographic accessibility and climate factor of this continent, most of them have potentiality in agriculture, fishing, forestry,and mining. For instant, Africa is a major producer of important metals and minerals.Actually, Africa exports Uranium, platinum,bauxite, nickel,aluminum,cobalt, and the most profitable mineral resources are gold and diamonds. Depend on their local potentiality, African countries could use those resources freely and easily to help accelerate their economic growth as well as build their countries to become developed-countries. In contrast, most African countries are some developing, and some under-developing countries. Actually, there are many factors that lead those countries to be in poverty, but I would raise only few factors.

First of all, according to the history of the countries in Africa, Most of them were actually colonized and under protectorate of European powers such as United Kingdom, France, Germany, Portugal, and Spain. it means that most of their natural resources had been looted by those Western powers.

Second, it's because of corruption and dictatorial governments. Most countries had already faced up with civil war, revolution or war for independence. As a result ,their leaders who came to power by revolution, war or coup d'etat has been ruling their countries until now without changing. I could say that their political and administrative system in their countries are not yet reformed and modernized to be good enough in responding to the change of the Global. Last, it's about the competition and race of the investment of super powers in African Continent. Although the investment of foreign countries is very important and is also considered as a good chance for the developing countries like African, it also provides many disadvantages and negative impacts for them.  African countries are now becoming the most important target of two super powers China and the United states of America. China and U.S have been trying to strengthen the diplomatic relations and political ties with African states.

Without care management of the governments of African countries , they will completely face up with many problems such as environmental problem (deforestation, air or water pollution,drilling), social and political problems (tension between China and the West on human rights and democratization in Africa).
